Every Thursdays at the street corner of 16th & Mission, the Collaborative Arts Insurgency (CAI) Street Art Workshops hosts a mic-less open mic poetry event with a circle of listeners enveloped along BART railing. A mixed bag of poets, comedians, performance artists, and musicians have been making appearances in this street corner for the past five years. There is no sign up sheet and no money, just raw performance that entertains. Start time is around 9:30 and goes until midnight.
