Congratulations to Allan Hough, best neighborhood blogger in SF Weekly’s Best of San Francisco issue! Also, have a great trip, and we’re looking forward to seeing what new MM writer Kevin Montgomery sends our way in the next month. The Mission District is well represented in the issue, with props out to Tom Ammiano, Taqueria Cancun, Four Barrel, La Oaxaquena, Mr. Burbujas (it’s about time that mural received some recognition) Delirium, and many, many others.

Also special congratulations to Mission Street Food’s Anthony Myint as best charitable chef. Speaking of, Mission Street Food is back this week and if you haven’t looked at the menu yet, let bay scallop ceviche, soft shell crab po-boy sliders and kobe beef tongue be your inspiration. This might be one of the best menus yet.

Props out of the way – an eagle-eyed Flickr user has spotted Mr. Pickle, apparently in someone’s living room. At this point a blogosphere full of detectives has no doubt join the search – Mama Pickle, you will have your man back.

Also, SF Weekly posts an interview with Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida about the screenplay of the new film Away We Go, which opens in San Francisco on June 12. And don’t forget the fried pickles.
