Time, 1:18, past dozens of nudists, an old man in soiled diapers, cheerleaders, bee outfits, a save the boobs army, men in gold unitards, and many many american apparel bright leggings.

Hot weather + clear skies makes for an excellent day for a road race. And that’s exactly what ML reporter Madeleine Bair did – representing in her Mission Loc@l t-shirt! Was anyone else there?

“Time, 1:18, past dozens of nudists, an old man in soiled diapers, cheerleaders, bee outfits, a save the boobs army, men in gold unitards, and many many american apparel bright leggings.”

This week in the Mission – the Roxie Theater is showing “Medicine for Melancholy,” which looks well worth checking out. The soundtrack looks pretty good too. Showings at 8:10 and 9:50 this week.

“Cello” and “Madness” – two words that go together like, “violin metal” or “tuba hardcore.” But that’s the title of tomorrow night’s Cello Madness show at the Make Out Room, billed as an 8-12 piece cello choir. “Improvisation/the classics and Eleanor Rugby if you’re lucky.” Best of all, there’s no cover.

City Circus is performing at the Brava Theater this week. Check out where “Hip Hop meets the Circus” this weekend. Also check out the trailer on the City Circus website.
