Today’s Mission 04.22.09

Viva la Earth Day!

All hail Mr. Ed and Captain Kirk. Today is the last day to view art honoring the television at Creativity Explored on 16th Street. The exhibit, “TV and Me,” features art that pays homage to TV greats as well as the simple pleasure of watching the tube.

Last night the Chronicle sent out emails announcing the launch of it’s new “e-edition.” What’s the difference between the “e-dition” and a website, you might ask? We tried the “e-preview” and, at first glance it seems to resemble a PDF version of the print edition but with added interactivity (though we couldn’t access those in the preview version). SFist points out that the Examiner has had one for some time.

Tomorrow ‘La Mission’ debutes at the San Francisco International Film Festival, so check back for reviews hot off the reels of that film and others.

Happy Earth Day! It’s a day celebrate the end of a brief spring summerreturning fur to the animals and deforestation.
