Weekend Recap: Pepper-Spray Attack and a Suitcase Chained to a Pole

A 40-something man at 16th and Mission streets pepper-sprayed a 44-year-old man at 5 a.m. Sunday and stole the victim’s wallet, police reported. No arrests have been made.

Later in the day, at 7:25 p.m., a 52-year-old woman left her house on 20th Street between Guerrero and Valencia streets and found a suitcase chained to a parking pole, police reported.

The special police team responded and discovered that the suitcase was non-hazardous. It turns out someone just wanted it safe.

The moral if the story is that the person with the wallet should have put it in the suitcase.
