Police arrested the first suspect in the murder, San Francisco resident Adrian Landers, 18, last week. Homicide investigators searching for Lemalie spoke to family members, who convinced Lemalie to surrender.

Dang. Looking at his facebook you can see what a wonderful guy he was. …not.

    Glad they got both.

Always bums me out when people turn out to be vermin.

    • sad

This guy’s facebook profile is basically filled with video footage of kids double-teaming and beating other kids.

I’m glad family members convinced him to turn himself in, but wtf is going on with the family environment where this type of violent behavior is condoned or ignored? it’s disgusting and sad.

The question is what’s going in in that apartment on 26th st with the couch and chairs outside where all of these guys hang out at all the time. Are there any parents there? What’s the deal with the blinged out white hummer? These are housing projects. How did these kids end up like this?

        • Sharpie Pen

Julian, if you look at Dylan Lemalie’s Facebook page, in his profile picture he is posing with a white hummer, so there’s your answer. I wonder where his parents think he got the money for it. Isn’t there some sort of ceiling on the monetary value of personal property on can own in order to qualify to live in government subsidized housing? I mean why can a 20 year old own a $100.000 vehicle and still reside in the projects on our dime? And kill people? Is anybody paying any attention to this at all?

          • Miles

@Sharpie Pen: How many city workers are you willing to pay for to go through the finances and property of people living in projects to make sure they don’t own anything extravagant that would disqualify them from low income housing? Not to mention the lawyers to defend against lawsuits on the basis of unreasonable search by a government agency…

        • pri.

that isn’t his hummer, its someone in the neighborhoods hummer. so get your facts straight.

As far as I can tell from his facebook page this guy was running with the wrong crowd. Not only that, but there is evidence for some serious assault charges against some women from those projects in the videos on his facebook page too: http://www.facebook.com/dylan.lemalie Glad to hear he’s off the streets.

Um, Miles, that’s why it is “low income” housing — it is based on the occupants’ INCOME. And if that income allows one to purchase a $100,000 vehicle, one probably doesn’t qualify for said housing (ya think?). When a person applies to live FOR FREE in this housing, he has to fill out forms that list all residents and their income as well as property over a certain dollar value. That’s the price a person has to pay to receive these benefits, whether or not you like it. It isn’t a violation of their rights. You sign off on that when you accept the legal contract for the rest of us to supply FREE HOUSING. Tax payers already pay for the Case Workers and Social Workers to carry out these duties. If I’m going to provide free housing for murderous thugs who own $100,000 vehicles, it’s gonna be in the “big houses” of Susanville and Vacaville, not Bernal Dwellings.

Question: How many people from the surrounding neighborhood secretly fantasize about Bernal Dwellings being again razed? Probable Answer: A majority. Conclusion: It’s a very dangerous situation which encourages vigilantism. It should be obvious that one of the main functions of effective law enforcement is to discourage vigilantism. Is this not understood?

  5. truthis

Everyone above, why are you all worried about these “hummers in low income” places. They’re pictures for Christ sake. It’s not HIS car. What’s wrong with having a couch in front of their house? But nobody said anything about the workout equipment that’s also in those pictures right? STOP JUDGING PEOPLE! DON’T LET THE MEDIA FOOL YOU. THEY FILTER IN WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SEE AND FILTER OUT WHAT THEY DO **NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW. EVERYONE HAS TAKEN A PICTURE WITH A CAR OF THEIR DREAMS, A DOG THAT WASN’T THEIRS, A HAT THEY WANTED BUT COULD NOT AFFORD. IT’S CALLED “PROPS”… UNLESS YOUR SOME KIND OF SAVIOUR OR SOMETHING, DO NOT PASS JUDGEMENT ON OTHERS. LET GOD HANDLE IT. NOBODY KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED SO STOP WASTING YOUR ME GIVING YOUR OWN LITTLE VERDICTSON OTHER PEOPLES LIVESNLESS YOU ALL ARE ABLE TO LIVE A PERFECT LIFE. I’M JUST SAYING. LET THE TRUTH COME OUT…

ALL YOU PEOPLE DNT KNOW ANYTHING WHAT YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT ! JESUS HAD A GUN ON HIM HE OBVIOUSLY WAS LOOKING FOR TROUBLE. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU GUYS DECIDE TO SAY SOMETHING NEGATIVE. AND BRINGING UP THE “PROJECTS” HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS ACTIONS. THERE’S A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE LIVING IN THE PROJECTS WHO ARE GOOD PEOPLE.

  7. pri.

I knew Dylan since we were kids, he’s a good person, he went to school, he was working, he took care of his mom and siblings, and his family, so what if he was hanging around outside, WHO TF ISNT? Everybody and they mama’s be outside. And I agree with Ariel, just because the projects is called the projects doesn’t mean it’s full of bad people. I know Dylan didn’t do what everyone is accusing him of. He’s not that kind of person. It was probably that black kid that they arrested the first time. You never know. So please get your FACTS STRAIGHT before blabbing your mouths on here. Know him before you judge him.

    • Sharpie Pen

Oh, give me a break. That’s what all l’il gangsters say. “He was a good boy” blah blah blah. How do you explain his (now removed) Facebook page with all the videos of fights on it? And pictures of people flashing gang signs? And you say he’s a nice person??? That is clearly, clearly not the case. But we are not supposed to judge. Yeah, right.

  8. Bob

if he didn’t do it, then why was he accused the suspect?I don’t think the people who work for murder investigators are idiots. And why was dylan scared of turning himself in then, because he knew he would get life for murder. if he felt he was innocent, he had nothing to hide then and wouldve turned himself in right away. also he is a moron. he spend his money from being a pusher on sports cars instead of an attorney, and he had no plans of fleeing the city or avoid being caught. he just hid in his house.

  9. WrongIdeas

There’s always a group of people that think they know it all who gave you guys high authority to judge others when one person those one thing wrong it’s everyone in the neighborhoods fault you guys have so much to say why don’t you try and help out young people out instead of pointing fingers and helping its a shame how some of you are “old mature” people but are kick to put people down we don’t know this kids personally so why sit here and talk about them god bless you all hea the only one that has the right to judge

  10. Anon

I can’t even drive around the army projects without 20 people throwing up gang signs, muggin etc. most of em are up to no good anyway. Im glad they put these two in. Let em rot inside and hope they get they cheeks taken excuse my French

  11. pri.

MORONS! get your facts straight. you don’t know him enough to sit behind your computer and judge him about what people accused him of, and what ever is on his FB. That isn’t his hummer, that belongs to someone in the neighborhood. If he hid in his house, how come they didn’t find him there, when the police raided it? STFU! you guys don’t know sh*t.

    • Julian

What do you have to say about the violent videos on his facebook page? he was a good guy?
Was he a drug dealer by any chance?
Did he have access to a gun?
he was still a good guy right?
A real saint and a guy who made his community better, I’m sure.

      • Ariel

We’re not saying he’s perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. He is a good guy, we got to know the real him. And you’re an idiot ! I’ve always driven there and I have never seen any of them throwing “gang signs”, compare driving on 24th and Mission. People rather believe on what the media says which everything they say is bunch of BULLSHIT. You guys shouldn’t even talk about this incident because first of all you guys weren’t even there.

        • Julian

I live a block away from this guys house and have for years. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone turns to criminal acts! I don’t have any friends involved in crime, but if you think crime is “normal” than you should be in jail too my friend.

          • pri.

Your crazy, because I lived next door to Dylan since the first day they moved in. You dont know him! And you dont know his family. You werent even there when the incident happened, so how do you really know it was him? Because of what the media said about him? Armed and dangerous? seriously, I was there when he turned himself in, and he was no where near armed or dangerous. Dont judge him beacause of what the media says, or because of his fucking fb page. YOU ALL DONT KNOW HIM! So shut the fuck up, who cares, its been almost a month. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!

          • melissa

Get over it?! Would you say that to Chuy’s father or family? Get over it? A 20 year old is dead. Somebody’s son, brother and friend. May the video prove inocents or guilt, but our community will take a long time to “get over it”.

          • melissa

If ever. Get over it would be better put as heal.

Only God can Judge Dylan. So stop judging him and worry about your own lives.
