Sound of Silence 1-20 to 1-27
Hey Kids! is a weekly feature looking at what’s coming up for families and kids of all ages.
As I write this, our loft is filled with my favorite sound, the enchanted silence of Ernesto’s breathing as he’s wrapped by his father bedtime stories. I see his wide eyes glued to my husband’s beard and lips, I hear the occasional interjection of a small voice, drowsier with every question.
And I know that this is what I want to do this weekend, and many to come, hold Ernesto’s hand while I look, listen, learn to all that I can during this time too brief.
