A commercial cargo truck allegedly struck a male cyclist sometime before 11:30 a.m. today at the intersection of Capp and 16th Streets, according to police.

The cyclist was traveling eastbound on 16th Street when a white cargo truck making a right turn onto Capp allegedly hit his left leg.

Witnesses said they heard the cyclist scream multiple times. He was taken to General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was conscious when the ambulance took him away, police said.

The driver was interviewed at the scene by police.
