   I was still young in the early 80s but i use to look up to the homegirls on 24 and say to myself i wanna look just like that…it wasnt few years later that i started pumpin my hair up n wearing my Dickies n black orchid lipstick…lol,i think this is great u guys can put together great memories in not just a gallery but a center that gives us such great Latino history… this is SFM history! Que viva nuestra raza SFMission

   This reception that took place on Wednesday was so much fun! It brought back so many memories. Thank you for this and I hope to get back to the gallery a couple of times in the coming week. Thanks to all who put this together

   We had only a few days in San Fran and decided to go to this as part of one of the days. Great decision! I wish that there were 3 x as many photos! What a cool time capsule of an era.
   The video archives is positively precious.
   Thanks so much for creating this AND GETTING IT ON A SAN FRAN CALENDAR OF EVENTS!!
