Misako Inaoka, Competitor for Art on Valencia

On June 13th, Mission Loc@l  announced — even before the winners  knew!— the three finalists chosen to present a proposal for the public  art project to go along with the  Valencia Street improvements. Residents will meet the artistsJuly 23 from 9.30 am to 12.30 am at the Mission Police Station at 630 Valencia Street for a conversation with the community.  Later, the three will offer their proposals, which will be on view,  and sometime this fall the winner will be chosen.

First, watch the video of Misako Inaoka who was chosen for her “sense of space.”
