Well, tomorrow’s Election Day. If you haven’t sent in your mail ballot yet, you’ll be able to drop it off at any polling place or at City Hall until 8PM. Or go vote in person the old-school way: Look up your polling place here.
Mayor Daniel Lurie is not up for re-election, but the outcome of a ballot measure (and two supervisor races) will shape his political power for some time, writes Joe Eskenazi. Read about the battle between labor and Lurie over Prop. D, the Overpaid CEO Tax, and why it’s so consequential.

UCSF interns and residents have launched 10 days of protest for a new contract. At issue, say the doctors, is management’s rolling back of benefits, and inaction on safety concerns.
