Good afternoon!

Were you wondering about that safe the FBI discovered in fixer Walter Wong’s former citadel, following a tip from Mission Local? Well, Joe Eskenazi has the story of what the agents found when they cracked it open.

After Mayor Daniel Lurie announced a ban last year on people living in RVs, some agreed to give up their vehicles for temporary housing vouchers. But Marina Newman writes that, like most of the homeless people who get S.F. rehousing aid, many RV dwellers were placed outside the city.

For back story, read what happened when the city began towing RVs.

Is it the job of the police to pick up trash and clean the streets? Maybe not, but at Mission Station‘s monthly community meeting, dirty sidewalks were right up there with public drug use as residents’ main complaints. Andres Jimenez Larios reports on Captain Perdomo‘s response.

More soon,
