Joe Eskenazi’s got some choice words about “politician-on-politician crime,” and mayoral candidate Daniel Lurie’s attempt to run on London Breed’s own pro-police ballot measure. Breed is not happy.

Speaking of cops and public safety, it seems crime fell in the city last year. Data from the SFPD shows an 8.2 percent decline in crime across the city, with a 9 percent drop in property crimes, though an uptick in robberies. We analyze the SF numbers and their meaning over time, and look at crime in the Mission.
