San Francisco wants to put a $300 million bond on the March ballot to help pay for at least some affordable housing. California says the city’s supposed to build 82,000 homes in the next eight years โ at least half of them affordableโ and is nowhere near that goal. The state, in a damning new report, said SF’s delays will lead to “dire consequences.“
