Lurie's 'BUILD Act' would be a big tax break for the wealthy

Mayor Daniel Lurie and Supervisor Bilal Mahmood are pushing the cleverly named ‘BUILD Act,’ which would cut taxes on property transfers over $10 million. Joe Eskenazi finds that the legislation actually wouldn’t require building anything—and could cost the city over $400 million in revenue.
