Protestors have blocked the Bay Bridge to westbound traffic this morning, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. We’ll continue to update this story.

Yesterday, hundreds of demonstrators marched downtown from the Chinese consulate to the security gates around APEC to protest human rights abuses by the Chinese government. Chinese President Xi Jinping has been met in SF by both supporters and dissidents, who’ve confronted each other at rallies.

In non-APEC news, workers at the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired voted overwhelmingly to unionize. Workers had to advocate for Braille ballots, and make organizing materials accessible for blind and Deaf-blind staff.
