The San Francisco Police Department is offering a $50,000 reward for information about the shooting death of Keith Albert, 32, who was killed at 20th and Shotwell streets in the Mission District last year.
The police department today posted a bulletin with images of a young person with black hair, wearing glasses and red-and-white gloves as an โunknown suspect.โ The reward, the bulletin said, is for information โleading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible.โ
Albert was shot in the early morning on Aug. 5, 2024, possibly in an incident related to the robbery of Ed & Dannyโs Market & Liquor store at 21st Street and South Van Ness Avenue.ย He was described by the police department as a wheelchair user.
An hour after the robbery, around 5 a.m., police found Albert lying on the ground on 20th Street near Shotwell, suffering from a gunshot wound. Albert was declared dead at the scene.
