This is a beautifully done story of the time we live in. Thank you, Molly, for your art and sensibility.
The meat counter at the 25th Street Guadalupe is AMAZING: organic brands if that’s what you want, great prices. We shop there every week.
This column is very, very satisfying: solid quotes, beautiful illustrations. Kudos to the artist!
Casa Guadalupe is a treasure and this art is a lovely tribute and a meaningful documentation. Thank you!
Casa Guadalupe was part of my Mission shopping routine for many years. Both are great, but I usually went to the one at 25th. Shopping Day in the Mission could take a few hours because it was enjoyable for me and, of course, would not be complete without stopping to make purchases at three or four or five stores at least! Almost always started (or stopped) at Casa Guadalupe.
I’ve moved away to another state, but I remember it well, and miss it very much.
