This week it’s a no brainer: saturday there’s the Urban Youth Arts Festival, in Precita, http://www.facebook.com/events/761370367242280/. And by night, the San Francisco Midnight Mystery Ride – It’s not a Mission event, but you’ll finish at Dolores Park at a certain point of the night, eventually.

On Sunday, I have two words for you [and a web site]: Roxie Theater, www.frozenfilmfestival.com

Lydia

It must be a Roxie Weekend as I hear really good things about the doc, “Dying to Know” on the friendship of Ram Dass and Timothy Leary. An oldtimer went earlier in the week and said he was surrounded by young techies with a lot of interest in psychedelics.

And who could resist An Animated History of Everything tonight at Odd Ball Cinema?

And why not just make it a movie weekend and go to A.T.A. on Valencia and see Kveto Hecko’s films on art.

Emma

I’ll second the Urban Youth Arts Festival, plus there’s a backyard dinner party at Adobe Books from 4:30pm-8:30pm on Saturday.

Also, if you’re interested, there will be a moving “Non-Stop Banghra” dance party making its way from 14th and Valencia to Public Works on Saturday at 9:00pm.
