This Sunday, Japanese artists from the Bay Area will silkscreen for Japan.
Paul Mullowney over at Studio 931 will host Rise Japan, a group that has had numerous fundraisers in art studios across the city to benefit earthquake and tsunami relief. Mullowney’s new studio at 931 Treat Ave. will be open from 1 to 7 p.m.
So grab that blank T-shirt or poster you have lying around (you can also buy one there), head to Studio 931, and get your favorite design printed on the spot. All proceeds go to Nippon Foundation’s ROAD Project, which fixes damage caused by the deadly earthquake earlier this year.
