UPDATE @ 9:55 P.M.

At 7:17 P.M. a group of male individuals standing at the housing unit on Valencia and 14th streets was shot by unidentified suspects. A 21-year-old male from Sacramento was grazed by a bullet but sustained no injuries that required emergency medical attention, said Media Relations Officer Albie Esparza.

The victim was able to walk away from the incident. Police responding to a 911 call briefly closed Valencia as they looked for evidence and attended the victim. The shooting is being investigated by SFPD Gang Task Force Unit.

Police briefly closed Valencia Street between 14th and 15th tonight around 7:30 p.m. A police officer said there was a shooting and somebody was hit, but just barely. A man was taken away in the back of an SFPD van on the Guerrero Street side of Valencia Gardens.
