Outside Lands 2026 was loaded with expensive food, mediocre freebies from brands and sponsors, and drunk teenagers. At the music festival, cigarette smoke filled the air as much as the cold, foggy San Francisco weather. 

From the 600 sorters of trash behind the scenes to the abundance of teens camping at barricade, the festival had attendees on their feet all day for a taxing three-day weekend. Despite the downsides, the festival stands strong as an inspiration for sustainable events and an opportunity to get together in celebration of music and art. 

As for the artists, the sets were humorous, sweaty, bubbly and alive. Bringing out props, special guests, and Glee references, the musicians brought their charisma to the stage. 

Where one burger is $20, three tacos are $25, and six mini egg rolls are $17, Outside Lands brought its attendees debt, chilly goosebumps, and a good time.

Best dressed of Outside Lands

Festival outfits range from people dressed for the runway to people dressed for bed. Mission Local documented the most notable outfits, from shirts with amusing statements to meticulous handmade outfits in celebration of their favorite artists.
