The man suspected of a Market and Jones shooting, in black, is followed by a suspected associate. A third man, not pictured, is suspected of shooting at the black-clad alleged shooter.

At 2:58 p.m., San Francisco Police Department officers on patrol in the area of Market and Jones heard gunshots before discovering a shooting victim. Medical personnel and police on the scene attended to the victim as the suspected shooter fled the scene on foot and remains at large. The victim was later transported to the hospital for life-threatening injuries, according to SFPD.

In an SFPD picture obtained by Mission Local, the alleged shooter is pictured wearing a black hoodie and black pants and his suspected associate is pictured behind him in a lighter-colored outfit. There was also purportedly a third man involved, who allegedly shot at the black-clad suspected shooter.

Officers are still on the scene conducting the investigation.

The story is currently in development and will be updated.
