    1. If the erstwhile liberal democratic United States turns into a corporate crony state with universal automated surveillance and social credit scores and secret police and prison camps then who cares if the dictator in charge is Chinese or murican?

  2. Campers,

I want them to go as fast as they can because at 82 they are the only chance I have of living to 120.

I have 3 sisters older than I am on up to 91 and 2 were/are Nurse Practitioners and beyond and we take advantage of every new treatment available.

I’ve been a Control group volunteer in 2 UCSF based brain studies, one that lasted a year and have ‘mild dementia’ so my Caretaker agent will keep track of developments in pursuit of cares and cures there job one.

I’m working on the ‘Second Brain’ that will be part of the AI agent I’m designing as my Cyber Caretaker.

This thing will know more than any doctor or lawyer and if I can just live a couple of more years it will organize my 50 years of writing and photos which has always been high on my bucket list and transform that into more than one cyber book on my 45 years in San Francisco.

All of this is only possible because of Anthropic and Google and Open AI and Musk, Musk, Musk.

The best of the lot in my opinion is Demis Hassabis who’ll give you honest opinions and he thinks they’ll need another breakthrough or two or three.

I hope my selfish plan does not contribute to the destruction of our species but, like Larry Page I’m willing to take the chance cause if people like me are right everything will be cool and the alarmists will forget to congratulate me on being right.

    lol

    go Anthropic !!!

    go Niners !!

    h.
