I live near 16th and Mission. I have been assaulted and harassed by gang members from MS13. It is usually at night time. The gang members walk around in the open hanging out in packs. They even drink beer in the wide open. The police are nowhere to be seen. Near 16th and Hoff, there is a memorial where a Sureno gang member was killed last year. His gang friends stand there all night and drink in front of everyone and flash their guns. the police don’t seem to care. If you are male and Latino walking in these areas, be careful.
