A 40-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint after reportedly being surrounded and stopped by a group of vehicles on 24th and Harrison streets on Tuesday. The man was walking near the intersection at about 7:36 p.m. when the incident occurred.
It is unclear how many cars were involved, but according to police, one driver driver exited a white vehicle and pulled out a handgun and demanded that the victim give up his cash and shoes. Police report that the robber fled the scene in an unknown direction and no arrests.
