Four months after the fire that wiped out several businesses along the Mission Street corridor near 29th Street, the businesses are still trying to get back on their feet – and invite neighbors to come indulge to support them.
Secession Art & Design, Coronitas Bar and Grill, and Old Devil Moon are each hosting fundraisers for the Mission Bernal Merchant Fire Relief Fund starting Friday night (10/7), with a goal of raising $25,000 on top of the $20,000 already raised.
“Our fundraiser is a small thank-you grant to remind these businesses that we got their back, and let them know that we’re still thinking of them and want them to be able to return,” writes organizer Eden Stein of Secession Art & Design.
Each business will donate a percentage of their proceeds to the Mission Bernal Merchants Association fire relief fund until Sunday at midnight.
