Police are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man who was found stabbed at 16th and Mission streets at 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 5. Though he was transported to the hospital, he was found dead on arrival of first responders. Police indicated that there are three male suspects in the death.
A reader reported that the northeast corner of the intersection had been cordoned off Sunday morning for the investigation.

The stabbing is the second death in the Mission in two weeks, following the shooting of Richmond resident Tiara Williamson.
Update 1
The San Francisco Medical Examiner reported that the man was Larry Teevy, a 55-year-old resident of San Francisco.
