Police report that around 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday, a 29-year-old man looked out the window of his apartment on Clarion Alley to silence a man making a racket in the street. The man, it seemed, wasn’t inclined to quiet down, and a verbal argument developed. The resident went outside to confront the disruptor face to face and a physical fight broke out. That’s when the noisemaker pulled out a knife and stabbed the resident in the back.
The victim fled and ran to Mission Station to report the crime. The laceration on his back sent him to the hospital, though he is reported to be in stable condition. The suspect, however, got away.
