The owners of FAZE apparel will take to SOMA’s StrEat Food Park today (428 11th Street) to run their second annual food drive. They’ll be collecting donations at the StrEat Food Park from noon to 4 p.m., which in turn will go to the SF Marin Food Bank.

FAZE has recruited radio host Chuy Gomez to host the event and organized a raffle, in hopes of going above and beyond last year’s food drive. In fact, FAZE is hoping to double their collections from last year’s drive, which yielded some 780 pounds of food, providing 650 holiday meals to those in need through the food bank.

Says FAZE:

The holidays bring about joy, quality time with family, and plenty of good food. However, many folks throughout the San Francisco Bay Area aren’t granted these same privileges. In fact, something such as a regular meal is few and far between. By soliciting the help of their supporters, local business, and fellow community members, FAZE is going to attack this very issue head on with their 2nd Annual Food Drive, Feed SF 2015.
