Police report that just after midnight on Monday morning, two men ran up behind and 39-year-old man waiting at the 16th and Mission bus stop and grabbed his wallet and cell phone from his hands. The men ran away with both, leaving the victim without his bank cards, social security card, and driver’s license.
On Monday morning between 5 and 6 a.m., a 19-year-old woman met with a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s,and went to an SRO near 16th and Mission streets. They began smoking an unspecified drug together, when a group of seven other people entered the SRO room and surrounded the victim. The woman was then robbed of her cell phone, ATM cards, and ID, and was left with scratches to her neck in the scuffle. The victim declined medical attention and no arrests were made.
