The biggest artist collective in San Francisco opens its doors, at two different locations, to art connoisseurs and laypeople alike tonight and through the weekend. Free and open to the public, with free refreshments served, the open studios event features painters, sculptors, photographers, fashion designers, jewelers, you name it – they’ll be there! And, need we add, selling their work at studio prices.

The event kicks off tonight at 7 p.m., after which merriment and artistry will continue until 11 p.m. and start up again Saturday and Sunday at noon.

Two addresses: 2425 17th Street and 744 Alabama Street

A quick look at a very small sampling of the artists exhibiting is below. For a full list, visit Art Explosion’s site. You can also check out coverage of previous Art Explosion open studios here and here.
