When a 40-year-old woman called police at 4 a.m. on Saturday about a suspect climbing through a window, they arrived in time to watch the suspect go through a second window.
The 26-year-old suspect fled when police arrived at the residence on Potrero near Mariposa. By that time it was too late, and he was arrested.
There were no injuries.
July 10th 10:25 p.m.
On the 800 block of South Van Ness near 19th Street, a 25-year-old woman was approached by a 19-year-old man who opened her car door and pointed a handgun at her. The man demanded the woman’s cellphone and money and then fled the scene. No arrests have been made nor was the woman injured.
