Crime in the Mission was relatively quiet last night, according to police reports, and one robbery was reported from Monday evening.

At around 4 p.m. Monday, a 17-year-old male found himself being asked for money by another young man at 23rd and Mission streets. When the youth refused to give any money, the suspect got angry and attacked him. They began to wrestle, and eventually the suspect grabbed the victim’s necklace and ran off with it. The victim was left uninjured, but no arrests were made.

Crime is trauma and the county offers different services. Here is a link to a page of services.

Victims of violent crime can also contact the Trauma Recovery Center at UCSF.
