Morning Gloryville, a sober morning dance rave, held their ninth event in San Francisco this past Wednesday. The club Inner Mission SF at 2050 Bryant St. hosted the monthly party, which ran from 6:30-10:30 am.

“We’re kind of an alternative to club culture,” explained head producer McKenzie Brill, “Instead of drinking you’re starting your day so you bring that fun energy… into your day, and into whatever it is you have to do that day.”

The event included morning yoga and acro-yoga, face painting and aerial artists, a breakfast bar and free coffee. The clientele generally skewed young, bringing together artists and tech workers as well as local moms with their kids.

It was the seventh time the event was held at Inner Mission SF, which Brill sees as the ideal location for the party given the neighborhood’s rich history of artistic expression.

Early bird tickets for the tenth Morning Gloryville event, to be held on March 18th, are on sale now for $18, available here.
