Good Morning Mission! It’s 9 a.m. and 44˚ and expected to get up to 54˚. Details for the next ten days here.

My block on this brisk morning encompassed 25th to 26th, Dolores to Fair Oaks. It’s a prosperous block, with big homes. Remnants of the holidays hang on in windows and on doors. On Fair Oaks, many houses have three or four units. My main takeaway from this walk was that the birds love the corner garden at Fair Oaks and 25th–they were twittering away in the trees and bushes, and they didn’t need cellphones to do it.

With the light good early on, so much the better to sign on to document your block. Don’t wait! Let us know what day and block you would like at info@missionlocal.com.

You can see a map of all of the blocks here.  The blocks in grey are being saved for others who have signed up. Let us save a block for you as well.
