It is 9 a.m. but these photos were taken earlier this morning. It is now 51˚ and expected to rise to 61˚. Details for the next ten days here.
Today’s Block: 17th to 18th, Shotwell to Folsom.
Again, a block full of surprises. Far less residential than many of the others I’ve photographed, the busy block is home to several arts-oriented businesses and a couple of inviting restaurants. There was even the stray Victorian to remind me I was in San Francisco. Shotwell has been closed off a little with raised sidewalks on either end, and the sidewalks are nicely landscaped. Folsom stlll has the sandbags that were needed in the December flooding, in case we get more rain this winter. One can hope, anyway.
