Update 3:30 p.m.: Family of Steven Harris have confirmed that he has been recovered. He’s currently in the hospital with his family. We’ll update this post with more information as warranted.

The family of San Bruno resident Steven Harris is seeking anyone with information about the 24-year-old who appears to have gone missing around Tuesday, January 6.

Harris was last scene on Tuesday at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the California Academy of Science where he works. He was taking his break and has apparently not been seen nor in touch with his family since.

“He hasn’t been in contact at all,” said his sister Erin Harris Thursday, which she said is extremely rare because “our family is constantly in contact throughout the day.”

Steven Harris was last seen wearing gray jeans, a black hoodie, and a burgundy zip up jacket. His sister describes him as having a beard and a bigger build with broad shoulders.

The Harris family has been in touch with the police who are investigating the case.

“My family is just asking everyone to keep a lookout for him throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area,” said Harris. “We really just wish he would come back safely.”

Anyone with information can call Erin Harris at 415.218.5933 or Alexandria Norman at 209.814.0273. You can also leave an anonymous tip with the police by calling 415-552-4558 or texting TIP411 with the keyword “SFPD” in the body of the text.
