A big week for Giants baseball began last night under a harvest moon. Outstanding pitching combined with outstanding Arizona foibles to give the Giants a 5-1 victory.

Two more games against the D-backs, then the Dodgers—currently leading the Giants by 2.5 games in the NL West—come to town.

Mark Rabine has lived in the Mission for over 40 years. "What a long strange trip it's been." He has maintained our Covid tracker through most of the pandemic, taking some breaks with his search for the Mission's best fried-chicken sandwich and now its best noodles. When the Warriors make the playoffs, he writes up his take on the games.

I grew up in the Mission, went to School of the Arts high school for creative writing. Bounced around colleges from SFState, to CCSF, to CCA where I graduated with a degree in photography.
