As everyone knows, August 10 is National S’mores Day, and Dandelion Chocolate will be celebrating by offering its newest confection: Dandelion S’more Hot Chocolate.

Pastry chef Lisa Vega, who used to be at San Francisco’s famed Gary Danko restaurant, has created this tasty treat for National S’mores Day only. The hot chocolate, seen above, is described as “a Papua New Guinea ganache base, graham cracker infused milk, topped with a marshmallow (torched to order) and sprinkled with a salty graham cracker crumb.”

We’ve profiled Dandelion Chocolate before, and can personally attest to the excellence of their goods. If the quality of this newest invention is anything like their other treats (which it should be, since Vega makes the desserts in house everyday), you’ll want to go down to 740 Valencia sometime today to celebrate that most venerable of occasions, National S’mores Day.
