A 31-year-old man walking on 16th Street between Guerrero and Dolores streets at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday was approached by a 20-something suspect who simulated a firearm and demanded the victim’s property, according to police.
The victim failed to believe him so the suspect “forcibly reached” into the victim’s pocket, grabbed his cell phone and fled west on 16th Street, according to police.
No arrests have been made.
