Even though bookstores don’t often draw my attention, it was surprising to find one with a sign in English and Spanish, Alley Cat Books. Besides the sign, the variety of books in both languages seemed interesting enough to make me go in.

Upon entering, I was faced with many different books of diverse size and content. At the back of the room there is a small art gallery as appealing to the eye as the bookstore itself. Colors and hues all come together, and are all different parts of a whole. But on a side of the bookstore there was a door which made me curious. The door is separated from the other books and nothing obstructs it, so it may be possible it is used for storage. Taking a picture of it satisfied my curiosity and it made me learn that there is a nice bookstore on 24th Street that I’m going back to when I have the chance.
