An example of work by Jonathan Matas. Matas proposes to cover the bus with "tiny bits that make up a whole," as seen here.

From Jonathan Matas:

I would like to do a “Scintillae Bus” (working title.) Scintillae are tiny, flickering points of light. It’s a word I’m using to describe my style of working with tiny bits that make up a whole. When you see the piece from far away, all the bits blend together to make the whole image; from up close, it looks like an abstract sea of bits and words. I’d like to leave this loose conceptually, in order to have room to play within the general container, but I hope my past work will speak for itself.
