Some 1590 customers are without power this afternoon after an underground cable failure on 16th and Valencia streets, a PG&E spokesperson said.
The power went out at around 2:27 a.m. Business in the area including Big Lantern, Muddy Waters Coffee House, and Girodano Brothers were forced to close for the day due to the power outage. The utility company expects to have the issues resolved by 7 p.m., said PG&E spokesperson JD Guidi.
