The Guardian’s loss is San Francisco’s gain. As BuzzFeed reported today, Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who broke the National Security Agency surveillance story, is leaving the Guardian for a “brand-new, large-scale, broadly focused media outlet.” And while details of the new venture remain unclear, San Francisco is reported to be one of its three main hubs, along with New York and Washington.
