Friday

A  woman was robbed near Valencia and McCoppin streets at around 8:00 a.m. on Friday. The 49-year-old victim was approached from behind by a suspect who snatched her cell phone and necklace before running in an unknown direction.

Sunday

A man was robbed shortly before midnight near 16th and Mission streets. The 25-year-old victim was approached by the suspect who took out a knife and took the victim’s gold necklace before running in an unknown direction.

A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries in his neck after two suspects robbed him at around 4:45 a.m. on Sunday. The 31-year-old victim was approached by three suspects, one of whom cut the victim in the neck before stealing his wallet and cell phone.

Monday

A man was robbed while riding on Muni near 30th and Dolores streets. The 40-year-old victim was riding Muni at around 2:30 a.m. when another man approached the victim and grabbed his hair and pushed the victim’s head against a pole before stealing the man’s phone and wallet.

  1. There was also an attempted mugging in which the victim was assaulted and sustained head injuries at 22nd & S. Van Ness on Sunday around 4pm. Not sure why that isn’t included–police responded to the scene.

    1. Yeah, everyone should do as David Campos does and pretend that crime in the Mission doesn’t exist and isn’t a problem, right?
