Stephanie Echeveste has combined her love of design with her love of travel to create Etxe, a company that produces handcrafted items, or “mementos,” inspired by places around the world.

Each month, Echeveste travels to a new place and creates a new product which is then produced in San Francisco or in the place of inspiration. She keeps a blog where readers can keep up on her travel experiences and meet the people she meets along the way.

Echeveste’s first product is a San Francisco Muni-inspired wallet, and the second is a wool baseball cap inspired by Seattle. Check out these items and more and help fund the Exte project on Echeveste’s Kickstarter page.
