So long, Bay Bridge: Start planning your commute accordingly. At 8 p.m. tonight, the Bay Bridge will shut down and remain closed until next Tuesday. It’s the fourth time since 2006 that the bridge has been out of commission over Labor Day weekend. BART will remain open for 24 hours, though, so remember not to include any bridge commute in your plans for the holiday.

Ladies Night at the Makeout Room: While you’re mourning the closure of the bridge, why not stop by the Makeout Room tonight for some laughs? At at 8 p.m., the femme comedians Marga Gomez, Mary-Alice McNab, Colleen Watson, Clare O’Kane and Kate Willett will be performing at the Makeout Room’s “Ladies Night.”
