Hope you enjoyed the sun this weekend!

It is 7 a.m, 59°,  partly cloudy, and headed to a lovely 64°. This week, it looks like the fog will be burning away early and the days staying warm late. Check out the weather forecast for the next ten days here.

How do you feel about calling San Francisco “Frisco?” For some city dwellers, using the term is nothing short of blasphemous, but for others, it’s the perfect fit. As Richard Everett, the curator of exhibits at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, explains: “I’m trying to put the word back. It has been in jail too long.” Do you think he can bring it back?

A visual time capsule: The Bold Italic showcases a series of vintage black and white photographs of the Mission.  The photos were made digital thanks to the Western Neighborhoods Project, and donated to the San Francisco History Center at the San Francisco Public Library. Take a look at the corner of 19th and Guerrero through the dusty lens of a vintage camera. Has anything stayed the same?

If you missed the 20th Street Block party on Saturday, there’s still plenty to do this week. Why not check out the Classical Revolution Chamber Music Jam tonight at The Revolution Cafe?

Happy Monday!
