Weekend Crime Recap: Man Stabbed with Fork, Cab Driver Robbed

Friday

A man was shot in the foot near 22nd and Harrison streets, police said. According to police reports, the victim mistook the gunfire for fireworks and later discovered he had been shot in the foot.

A friend drove the victim to San Francisco General Hospital. The incident occurred at about 4:25 a.m. No arrests have been made.

Saturday

A male suspect robbed a man near 14th Street and South Van Ness Ave., police said.  The suspect knocked the man unconscious after punching him in the back of the head then proceeded to take money from his pockets.

The incident occurred at about 2:53 p.m. No arrests have been made.

A man took a woman’s cell phone as she was walking home near 14th and Guerrero streets, police said. The woman was using her phone when the suspect came up from behind her and took it. The woman was not injured. No arrests have been made.

The incident occurred at about 9:17 p.m.

Sunday
A man who robbed a cab driver near 24th and York streets was arrested, police said.

The cab driver picked up the suspect at about 4 a.m. Sunday. After the cab driver took him to his destination, the suspect threatened the driver with a replica handgun and stole his money.  The suspect fled but officers were able to locate him and arrest him.

An unknown suspect stabbed a man with a fork near 16th and Mission streets, police said. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital after sustaining non life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at about 2:35 a.m. No arrests have been made.

Two male suspects robbed a man near 16th and Mission streets, police said. One suspect punched the man while the other took his wallet money and cell phone and later fled the scene.

The robbery happened at about 1:40 a.m. No arrests have been made.
